Jack Salom joined Denzler & Partners in January 2005. Mr. Salom took over leadership responsibilities as Managing Director in 2008 and ownership in 2011.
Mr. Salom serves as a personal consultant to the CEO's and Boards of several leading companies, and governmental and non-profit institutions that are headquartered in Switzerland, also advising them on their leadership needs, as well as conducting numerous international executive search assignments on their behalf.
Prior to Denzler & Partners, Mr. Salom was CEO of DBM Switzerland, formerly the world leader in Outplacement & Career Counseling. Mr. Salom advised CEOs and Senior Executives that were facing career transition challenges. From 1988 to 2004, he was instrumental in increasing the firm’s Swiss customer base to reach 1,500 companies, heading a team of 40 consultants in 10 offices, and serving as part of DBM's European Management.
Jack Salom started his career in 1979 in Geneva joining Instrumatic AG, a Swiss start-up company that led in the distribution of state-of-the art, high technology instruments and equipment for industry, research centers, and hospitals in Europe. He moved into its Sales and Marketing department during a six year tenure based in Zurich, and then acted as the firm's Assistant General Manager until he joined DBM.
In 1992, Mr. Salom and a partner founded the Challenge Group, a Swiss holding company that owned a number of consultancies in the field of Human Resources Management, and joined their boards of directors. In 2003, Mr. Salom became the first President of the Swiss Association of Outplacement and Career Consulting Firms.
Jack Salom holds a Master and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne/Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) in Lausanne, Switzerland. He is also a graduate of IMD's PED program (1994-95).
